This old fruit machine cheat is really good if you manage to find one in an old seaside arcade or holiday park. The fruit machine cheat relates to the £5 jackpot Barmy Army fruit machine made by Barcrest. It wasn’t a huge release when it first started doing the rounds in 2004 on a £25 jackpot, but it was nonetheless, still fun to play.
The fruit machines theme is World War 1, with multiple levels on a super board which represent trenches. The idea is to build your way up to the £5 jackpot on one of the two ladders; features or cash, or fill the cashpot up to £5, or ultimately reach the centre of the super board for the mega streak.
This fruit machine cheat involves playing all out for the mega streak in the centre of the super board. To enter the super board you need to light up three generals on the lower game board. As you move around the lower board you will increase your cash and feature ladders, as well as fill up the word ‘Barmy Army’. A completed Barmy Army logo will make you invincible for guaranteed access to the mega streak. You will also be able to land on the Generals; three of which transfer you to the front line of the outer trench in the super board.

As you move around, you’ll land on super features and cash values. You may also high and low gamble on the cash values to help increase the cashpot. The higher the cashpot, the more likely you are to move in to the inner regions of the super board. If you high or low gamble and lose, you will be transferred to the standard game board on the same position as when you moved up. This can allow you to move up again for example, if you gambled lower than an 11 and it lost to a 12. You could then gamble this 12 on the lower board for a sure win.
Although the fruit machine is fun to play, for this cheat to work you need to play all out for the mega streak. The mega streak will always pay at least £25, and often does up to £45 if it hasn’t been done before, or too frequently, so not to be sniffed at by any means.
If you back out and collect a jackpot on either the feature or cash ladders, you may still get multiple repeats up to £45. If it repeats once, you will be awarded several more repeats up to at least £25, but the cash ladders do not always repeat whereas the mega streak will always do at least £25.
